The shower valve and trim in the bathroom have been replaced. During the visit, it was discovered that the shower drain had frozen; however, we successfully thawed it. Following these repairs, everything is functioning properly.

This work was performed as an emergency service call due to freezing conditions in the well house that resulted in loss of water service and failure of the tank tee assembly. Immediate action was required to restore water service, prevent further damage, and stabilize the well system.

Scope of Work

1. Emergency Response, System Shutdown & Water Restoration
    •    Respond to emergency service call.
    •    Access frozen well house and assess system condition.
    •    Thaw frozen components as required.
    •    Restore water service that was lost due to freezing in the well house.
    •    Isolate and shut down the well system as needed to safely perform repairs.
    •    Relieve system pressure and drain affected piping.

2. Removal of Failed Tank Tee Assembly
    •    Remove the existing failed or damaged tank tee.
    •    Disconnect associated piping and components as necessary to access the assembly.
    •    Inspect surrounding piping and fittings for additional wear or freeze-related damage.

3. Installation of New Tank Tee Assembly (Complete)
    •    Install a new tank tee assembly sized appropriately for the existing well system.
    •    Install and connect all required components, including:
    •    Pressure switch
    •    Pressure gauge
    •    Pressure relief valve
    •    Boiler drain / hose bib
    •    Required electrical conduit and fittings
    •    Threaded fittings, nipples, unions, and sealants

4. System Reconnection & Configuration
    •    Reconnect pressure tank(s) to the new tank tee assembly.
    •    Restore plumbing connections to the well system.
    •    Verify proper electrical connections to the pressure switch.

5. Testing & System Restoration
    •    Restore power to the well system.
    •    Pressurize system and test for leaks.
    •    Verify proper pump cycling and pressure switch operation.
    •    Confirm accurate pressure readings and proper relief valve operation.

6. Final Verification & Cleanup
    •    Confirm stable water pressure and reliable system performance.
    •    Ensure system is fully operational and safe for continued use.
    •    Clean work area and remove all job-related debris.

    •    Shut off water supply and drain system as required
    •    Remove existing shower/tub control valve and tub spout
    •    Install new hot and cold isolation (shut-off) valves for the shower valve
    •    Install new three-handle shower control valve (hot, cold, and diverter)
    •    Install new tub spout and connect to diverter
    •    Connect valve assembly to existing hot and cold water supply lines
    •    Pressure test all connections for leaks
    •    Restore water service and verify proper operation of all handles and diverter
    •    Clean and remove job-related debris from the work area

Arrived at house and talked to owner about ongoing issues they’re experiencing. Client showed us to upstairs hall bathroom where they are experiencing no water pressure on hot side of shower as well as water not properly diverting from tub to shower head. Discovered leak from valves behind shower. Removed cartridges to inspect them and greased the gaskets, found an extra gasket in hot water valve and removed it. Fixed drip from shower head and discussed with homeowner the situation and the options for moving forward

Water Heater Removal & Installation
    •    Remove existing 80-gallon electric water heater located in basement
    •    Install new water heater drain pan
    •    Cap drain line due to no floor drain present
    •    Install new Rheem 75-gallon Marathon electric water heater
    •    Set water heater temperature to 120°F
    •    Test unit for proper operation and leaks

    •    Install new Comfort hot water recirculating pump system on water heater
    •    Install new Comfort Tee at the furthest plumbing fixture on the first floor

    •    Remove existing ¾” water line from pressure tank to filtration system
    •    Install new section of 1” piping from pressure tank to filtration system
    •    Tie into existing water filtration system
    •    Install new 20-inch whole-house filter
    •    Install new ATS disinfecting treatment system downstream of whole-house filter
    •    Test water and verify all treatment systems are operating properly

Toilet pull and Reset – Second Floor Hall Bathroom
    •    Remove existing toilet
    •    Remove existing wax ring
    •    Install new wax ring
    •    Reset toilet
    •    Caulk toilet base
    •    Test for proper operation and leaks

Water leaking around her 10 year old water heater, located in her barn- The barn is behind the house.

Installed new faucet.

1. Pressure Tank Installation • Supply and install one new 119-gallon pressure tank. • Install a complete tank tee assembly, including: • 0–100 PSI pressure gauge for accurate monitoring. • Pressure relief valve for safety and code compliance. • Drain and service valves to allow for future maintenance. • Disconnect and remove existing pressure tank (if present) and prepare the system for new installation. • Connect new tank and assembly to the existing plumbing system using appropriate fittings, thread sealants, and supports. • Pressurize and calibrate the tank to manufacturer specifications to ensure reliable water delivery. 2. Toilet Installation – Upstairs Bathroom • Remove the existing toilet and dispose of it properly. • Prepare the toilet flange and ensure secure, level installation surface. • Install elongated 12” rough-in toilet with new wax ring, closet bolts, and supply line. • Secure fixture to the flange and floor, ensuring correct alignment. • Connect water supply and verify proper flush and refill operation. • Test for leaks around base and supply line connections. 3. Hose Bib & Yard Hydrant Installation – Stable • Supply and install a new hot and cold hose bib in the stable area. • Connect hose bib to existing hot and cold water supply lines using approved fittings and methods. • Insulate piping where accessible to provide freeze protection. • Test hose bib for correct function and verify both hot and cold flow. 4. Jetting and Drainage Maintenance • Perform high-pressure water jetting of the outside drainage lines to remove scale, sediment, and buildup. • Ensure all major outdoor lines are cleared and restored to free-flowing condition. • Clear downspouts of all debris, including leaves, dirt, and obstructions that may restrict drainage. • Flush lines with water after cleaning to verify unobstructed flow and ensure the system is operating efficiently.

Testing and Verification • All plumbing connections, fittings, and fixtures will be pressure-tested and verified for leaks. • Toilet installation will be flushed repeatedly to confirm proper operation. • Hose bibs will be flow-tested for both hot and cold supply. • Jetting and downspout cleaning will be confirmed by full water test to ensure unobstructed drainage and proper system operation.

-Drain, cut out and haul away existing water heater -Install new 50 gallon electric in closet by back door in emergency pan -Install new 2.5 gallon expansion tank on new heater -Repipe main water line over to new location and install new main shut off and PRV -Repipe hot and cold water lines as needed to and from new heater location -Install junction box and run new 10-2 wire to new water heater location -Fill unit and test all work
