Ran camera down all 4 drain field lines and found lines partially clogged with debris.

Drain field lines need to be jetted and snaked. Pipe looks to be in good condition but I was unable to get all the way out of any of the lines. Took potability test and dropped of the lab.

Job Stories From Mount Jackson, VA
Garbage Disposal Repair in Mount Jackson, VA

Upon our visit, we addressed the issue of the disposal system reported by the homeowner. Our technician discovered that the reset switch was disengaged, which was promptly adjusted. Following this, a test revealed that the disposal hummed when activated.

In our assessment, we proposed unjamming the disposal before considering further steps. With the homeowner's approval, we successfully unjammed the mechanism, which allowed the blades to move freely. Testing confirmed that the disposal was functioning properly afterward.

However, during further evaluation, we observed that water drainage in the sink was not operating as expected. Specifically, when water filled the disposal side of the sink, it would bubble and drain abnormally, impacting the drainage in the adjacent sink as well. After removing the studor vent for testing, the sinks drained properly, indicating that further attention was required on the disposal drain system.

To address this, we made modifications to the plumbing by cutting and gluing a new section of PVC with the studor vent, allowing the adhesive to dry adequately. Unfortunately, the drainage issue persisted, suggesting that snaking or jetting of the drain is needed. We discussed options with the homeowner and recommended bio clean treatment for a few months. Additionally, we provided estimates for both snaking and jetting services, with a highlighted preference for the latter.

Water Treatment Service in Mount Jackson, VA

Came out to take a look at water treatment equipment that customer wanted serviced. Upon arrival I met with a family member and she took me to the basement and showed where the water treatment equipment was. There was an impressions air iron filter and what looked to be an acid neutralizer but could not tell. Went upstairs and tested water at kitchen sink. When testing for iron after dropping test packet in the sample would get really cloudy and smell. No iron was present on my test. Tested for sulphur too but no sulphur on my test there either. Tried to take a raw water test and asked the family member where the main water/ well tank was. She called husband and I spoke with him and they are new to this type of system. Looked in the back yard and front yard for well casing but could not find it or find a water meter. Pretty sure they are on well, followed the incoming line going into the iron filter. It goes up into the ceiling and goes straight down. Went into the room closet where I believed the line to be. Saw access panel in the closet and opened it but it was dry walled off. I believe the pressure tank is inside the wall of that closet somewhere or the incoming water main line is coming through the wall of that closet. Explained to the family member and she called her daughter and I explained what I discovered. Told her  that drywall would have to be cut out in order to locate either the pressure tank or the incoming line for the water. Customer did not want to do that at this time. Did explain that I could service both units today but that the black tank I was not completely sure what it was. Told her I believe it was an acid neutralizer due to the water testing acidic but could not be sure. She understood and I also told her that I would need to get a raw water sample to see where the acidic water is coming in at but again would have to cut the wall open. She understood and did not want drywall cut open. She explained everything to the mother who was at the house with me. Built estimate to service the two units but would not be adding media to the black unit since I’m not 100% sure what it was. Told the daughter the price and she explained it to the mother and she approved it. 1054 impressions air iron filter- bypassed and depressurized unit, removed control board and drive cap. Cleaned and inspected the seal stack, oring and pistons. Oring was good but the other components were old and had never been serviced so I replaced them both. Lubricated and installed components. Checked flow and I cleaned it. No issue so I reinstalled it. Replaced air check valve, injector and inlet check which was stuck open. After doing this I put unit through a regen. Letting it go through a full backwash. Let air valve draw 15 minutes of air. Once regen was finished I put unit back into service. Black tank( acid neutralizer?)- bypassed and depressurized unit, removed control board and drive cap. Cleaned and inspected oring, seal stack and piston. Oring was in good condition but seal stack and piston had not been serviced in a long time so I replaced them both. Lubricated and installed components. There was flow meter for this unit. After installing the new components I put unit  through a regeneration. Noticed that the backwash is 8 minutes long followed by a 6-8 minute rinse and then lastly a 30 second backwash. Looks to be this unit may be an acid neutralizer but not entirely sure and not sure what type of media to put in it which is why raw water test needs to be conducted. Once unit finished regenerating I put unit back into service. Checked for leaks and no leaks.
